Setting up Localizer's language widget

Once you have integrated Localizer with your website, a language widget will become visible on all pages of your site. This is the Localizer language widget.

The language widget gives website visitors the option to select any of the languages that you have translated your site to and view the website in that language.

To make changes to the language widget, log into your Localizer account, hover over the Menu button on the top right of the screen, then click on the Language Widget heading from the drop-down menu.

From the language widget menu, you will see a switch that allows you to enable or disable the widget:

You will also be able to customize your language widget in the following ways:

  • Choosing the background, text, and border colors to match the theme of your website.

  • Selecting the design of the widget.

There are currently four styles to choose from:

        1. Classic

The size of the classic widget can also be adjusted:

The classic widget also allows you to enable/disable flags for the languages:

        2. Basic

        3. Minimal

        4. Flags

  • Selecting the placement of the widget (NOTE: You cannot place the language widget in the same position as the currency widget). *

* Selecting "Floating" will reveal the code for the widget, which you can paste into your site, where you want to widget to appear.

There is also an area that allows you to preview the changes that you have made to your language widget.

Once you're happy with your widget, you can save the changes. Refresh your website to view the changes made.
